Muralitharan abused in Australia, Kangaroo fans throw eggs at him

 

In a shocking development, world's leading wicket taker and Sri Lankan off spinner Muttiah Muralitharan was abused by hostile cricket fans in Australia. The incident occured at Hobart, where Sri Lankan team is currently based to play in the tri-series against Australia and India. Some Australian fans threw eggs at Muralitharan and others hurled abuse at him. The Sri Lankan team immediately returned to the hotel amid heavy security arrangements.
